Signs From the Ocean
Many whales die due to ship collisions. In response, CMP has created the project “Signs From the Ocean”, which uses ocean buoys equipped with artificial intelligence to detect whale signals. These buoys alert vessels to prevent collisions. The project has gained widespread attention through massive media coverage, social media, and a dedicated website. Whale sounds, once imperceptible, can now be clearly heard—reminding us of the importance of protecting ocean life.
